Edfinancial and PSLF: what to do
Short answer: If Edfinancial is your federal loan servicer, you submit PSLF employment certification through the official PSLF Help Tool on studentaid.gov, not a third-party site. Your qualifying payment count appears on studentaid.gov and in your Edfinancial account. Contact details and account access are on Edfinancial's official site at edfinancial.studentaid.gov; we do not list phone numbers here — use the ones shown on that site or your billing statement.

Steps
- Confirm Edfinancial is your servicer on your studentaid.gov dashboard.
- Check your employer in the PSLF employer search, then in the PSLF Help Tool.
- Submit the PSLF form (employment certification) through the Help Tool at least yearly and when you change jobs.
- Stay on a qualifying plan (RAP, IBR, or 10-year Standard). Apply for RAP at studentaid.gov — see how to apply for RAP.
- Review your qualifying payment count after each certification and keep copies.
Avoid scams
Edfinancial and the Department of Education never charge to submit PSLF or IDR forms. Never share your FSA ID.
